Founded in 1938 by Mahagujarat Medical Society with the motto सर्वलोकहितार्थाय, Sundar Ayurved Pharmacy stands as a pillar of tradition and quality in the field of Ayurvedic medicine. The pharmacy, GMP certified (GA/1937), operates under the guidance of the society and covers an area of 773.23 Sq.Mtr, encompassing storage, manufacturing, and quality control sections.

• Catering to the needs of P.D. Patel Ayurveda Hospital, Sundar Ayurved Pharmacy produces over 220 classical Ayurvedic formulations.
• Operates with a robust quality management system to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality in all products.
• Provides pharmaceutical exposure and training to U.G., P.G., and Ph.D. scholars of the institute.
• In-house cultivation of various herbs such as Rasna, Shalaparni, Prushniparni, Bruhati, Vasa, Shatavari, Kapikachhu, Trivruta, Gandira, Yava, etc.
• Procures raw materials from standard sources like I.C.A.R.-Boriyavi, AAU-Anand, and trained farmers.
• Manufactures precious medicines like Hiraka Bhasma, Swarna Bhasma, Swarna Prashana, and Mukta Pishti.

Quality control is maintained at all stages: raw material, in-process material, and finished product. Frequently visited by students and researchers from other institutes, as well as trainees from various training programs in India and abroad.
